Priscilla Thomas is a Senior Communications Associate at Global Situation Room, where she provides strategic communications support across several global and mission-driven clients in the public affairs, philanthropy, and international business sectors. In her role, she assists with media monitoring and analysis, message development, content creation, and coordination of client initiatives that advance visibility and thought leadership.

Before joining GSR, Priscilla served as Deputy Press Secretary in the Executive Office of the Mayor of Washington, D.C., where she supported media planning, press messaging, and the development of communications strategies that helped shape the Mayor’s narrative on key policy priorities. She also managed press logistics, developed briefing materials, and supported crisis communications for high-profile events. Through that experience, she built strong relationships with reporters and producers across local and national outlets, including The Washington Post, Bloomberg, and major broadcast networks such as CNN and NBC News, sharpening her instincts for fast-paced media engagement.

Priscilla holds a Master’s degree in Political Communication from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in International Relations and Communications. Based in Washington, D.C., she stays closely connected to the city’s media and policy community.
