Guest Booker
Situation Room Studios is looking for a dedicated and experienced booking producer to oversee a prominent transatlantic global affairs podcast. This role involves identifying, securing, and coordinating high-quality guests, and managing all aspects of production. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking skills and a deep understanding of foreign policy and politics.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research to identify guests, including diplomats, analysts, and subject matter experts, and create targeted pitches to secure them for interviews.
Strategize and collaborate on potential guest bookings and news angles.
Draft professional and compelling invitations to secure guest participation.
Conduct pre-interviews to provide guests with relevant details, including discussion topics, format, and technical requirements.
Manage guest bookings, and research, and coordinate all logistics for pre-production and post-production schedules for episodes, shorts, social media, and live events.
May include travel, coordinating and attending events, and weekend/evening hours.
You’re perfect for this job if you have:
3-5 years experience in journalism, media, public relations, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, political science, or a similar field.
Deep understanding of current events, politics, and global affairs issues.
Ability to properly vet guests to determine suitability and knowledge of the subject matter.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong editorial judgment and newsgathering skills.
Ability to network and establish professional connections with high-profile individuals.
Strong grasp of using social media to connect with individuals and promote the podcast.

Responsibilities:
Serving as a key member of the account team, developing core components from a client’s strategic plans
Exceeding client expectations with exceptional work
Independently managing multiple deliverables while working closely with internal teams on overall execution

Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional administrative support to senior leadership.
