Ananda Harilela

Fellow

Ananda serves as a Fellow at Global Situation Room, where she draws on her background in government, international affairs, and law. Prior to joining GSR, Ananda served as Chief of Staff to Georgia State Representative Lisa Campbell, Assistant Coordinator at East Bay Advocacy, Democracy Intern at The Carter Center, and Photo Office Intern in the Biden-Harris White House. These experiences provided her with a broad understanding of government, strategic messaging, team management, international policy, and geopolitical risks.

At GSR, Ananda applies her experience with government, NGOs and international affairs to support the firm’s strategic objectives, communications, and contribute to client engagement.

Ananda is a recent graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she graduated with highest honors and earned a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, with minors in Law, Science and Technology and Chinese. During her time at Georgia Tech, she served in the Student Government Association, and studied abroad in China and across various European Union countries.
